I compiled this video for a school studio project when I was a first year master student in historic preservation. First, I did the survey and architectural documentation of a nineteenth century mansion located at Kahrizak (south of Tehran, Iran). This provided primary architectural data (including plans, sections, structural analysis) needed for the design stage. Then I developed my spatial ideas to both save the cultural heritage values attributed to the twin mansions at the site (a former traditional garden) and to adapt the project to the development and economic quest of the new owner. The video was made in few hours from the material that was already gathered. I shall soon revise the video in order to clean up typos and such. You may kindly ignore them for now! :)
